Training and Expertise

The artist has apprenticed with Modern Refinishing, a refinishing studio based in Boston, MA. Developing his expertise through traditional practices from varnish removal, color matching and coating with a focus on Mid-Century Modern furniture and accessories. As the refinishing process requires careful consideration and techniques to preserve its integrity Furniture Art + Design will provide a detailed evaluation to match the needs required to maintain the sentimental, historical and cultural value of the piece.

Pricing and Evaluation

Each piece is evaluated based on its condition to provide you with a fully restored heirloom. Depending on the complexity, size and quantity the artist can provide a detailed cost evaluation upon receipt of the piece. Costs incurred based on materials required are additional to the labor cost, which labor cost is generally quoted at $35 hourly.

Receipt and Delivery

Pick up and delivery are available within the Tri-state area dependent on the size of the furniture item. Gas, mileage and handling can be quoted upon further information.
